I have been living in York, SC since December 1997 on land that has been in my family since 1860. My ancestor James Brian moved here from Ireland in 1760. He is buried in Mill Creek Church Yard in Lake Wylie, SC.
My father was in the Air Force from about 1970 to 1992. We lived in Beavor Creek, Ohio; Brookville, MD; and Vienna, VA. I moved to Shepherdstown, WV from 1992 to 1993 then moved back to Virginia before moving to York, SC. I moved here to go to York Tech in Rock Hill and graduated in 1999.
The house that I live in was built in the late 1970's. I have tried to keep with the colonial way of decorating. I have candle chandeliers in everyroom of the house, candle sticks, and oil lamps. The only bed in the house is a rope bed. There is no phones in the house and we don't have a personal computer.
Chris and I got married on June 14, 2008 at Twin Oaks Farm in York, SC. My parents are living outside of Warrenton, VA.
Brother Greg is living in Maryland with his wife Cheryl, daughter Ashley, and son Nicholas.
Sister Cherie returned to Northern Virginia to teach ESL in Fairfax County after teaching in Istanbul for a year following graduate school. She is engaged to be married this fall.
Sister Christina is employed as an architect in Raleigh, NC. She married Joel Horne on May 24, 2008.
Brother Sean graduated from Virginia Tech with three concurrent degrees in Chemistry, Physics and Math. He will be in Portland, Oregan working for Intel (2008).
