2009: I purchased six baby white ducks.   

2008: Daisy May gave birth to twins but one baby did not survive on March 22.  Both of her babies were in the birth canal at the same time.  The surviving baby is a boy named Survivor.  Ann Marie gave birth to twin girls (Sarah and Beth) on March 21. Cristine gave birth to one girl (Buttons) on April 19 and died on April 21 from a difficult kidding.  Leah gave birth to a boy (D.A.) and Isabelle gave birth to a girl named Belle.  I  have 21 hens mixed of Americanas, Sex Link, and Rhode Island Red.

2007: I had a addition of two white ducks (Henry and Pete).  The Rooster that I had, was found drowned in the duck pond.  In Mid March, Isabelle had two girls (Ellen and Claire).  Cristine had one girl (Ann Marie) a couple days after Isabelle.  The girls are enjoying having two mothers to nurse from.  I started weaning the babies ( a noisy time) in April 2007. 

Spring 2006, my goat Leah kidded two girls, Parthenia and Julia.  I purchased a billy kid named Levi about the same time from a farm in Virginia for breeding. 

In 2005, Leah kidded for the first time Isabelle. 

I raise Saaen dairy goats.  I have made cheese, soap, and shampoo with their milk from 2005 to spring 2008 but due to a miscarriage I am taking the near future off from milking.  In the future, I want to make goat's milk lotion.  In 2007, I have made feta, a soft cheese, and mozzerella cheese from my girl's milk.  My goats are Leah, Isabelle, Parthenia, Julia, Eric, Cristine, Emma, Ezekial and Levi.  I have a Cotswold ram named Michael.  Gabe died suddenly on June 13, 2009.  Caleb (Gabe's brother) died on October 25, 2007.  He was having seizures, not eating and laying on his side.  Gaberial and Caleb were born in the Spring of 2000.  I spin, knit and weave with their wool.  I have eight cats (Iris, Kody, Johna, Hannah, Samuel, Emily, and Ephriam) and two dogs (Eddie and Meghan).  My cat Jacob died on Sunday, May 20, 2007.
